01/15/2011 - SPAWAR Communications Contract

Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC), McLean Va., has been awarded a follow on SPAWAR ID/IQ contract for technical and engineering services in support of the DHS Interoperable Communications Technical Assistance Program (ICTAP) to provide interoperable communications support to first responder agencies.  This one-year contract contains two one-year options which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of this contract to $42M.  As a subcontractor to SAIC, YES Inc. has been providing frequency planning support for public safety entities including the continuing development and enhancement of the Frequency Mapping Tool (FMT).   The FMT downloads FCC land mobile radio and cellular license data in an interactive map display with support for detailed analyses and report generation.  YES Inc. will continue to support the contract in various task areas.

12/13/2010 - NISC III AWARD

The FAA NISC Program Office is pleased to announce the award of the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC) III, a follow-on contract to the NISC II Bridge, comprised of a 4-year base period and two 3-year option periods.  The estimated value of the base period is approximately $500 Million with a total potential contract value of $1.4 billion over a 10-year span. NISC III will continue to provide high-quality engineering, technical and project management services to FAA organizations responsible for NAS transformation, integration, and implementation.

Working in partnership with the NISC Team ensures that capital investment and other FAA projects and programs are implemented and integrated effectively to support NAS objectives.

Transition to NISC III Task Orders will commence in January, 2011.

12/13/2010 - Office of Safety Support Contract

YES Inc., as part of a team, was recently awarded a task order contract to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Organization’s (ATO) Office of Safety.  Under this Electronic FAA Accelerated and Simplified Tasks (eFAST) task order contract, YES Inc. will assist the ATO to accomplish its overall mission to improve safety and reduce risk in the National Airspace System (NAS).  The contract covers one base year with up to four one-year options.  The transition for the Runway Safety Project from NISC to the eFAST contract is underway and will be completed in January, 2011 in all nine FAA regions as well as the FAA Headquarters.

10/12/2010 - FAA eFAST MOA Award

YES Inc. was awarded a 7-year Master Ordering Agreement (MOA) from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under their Electronic FAA Accelerated and Simplified Tasks (eFAST) Program.  The period of performance has a base period of 5-years and two 1-year options.  The eFAST is the preferred small business professional and support services acquisition vehicle that enables long-term procurements for an expanded array of professional and support services to better serve the requirements of the FAA.

YES Inc. is a member of the Information Technology (IT) Schedule 70 (a multiple Award Schedule ) which allows YES Inc access to government IT Community through 20 Special Item Numbers (SIN). These SINS cover the most general purpose commercial IT hardware, software and service. key components of the GSA IT schedule 70 includes:

08/25/2010 - DHS Approval on Mentor-Protégé Agreement between AGS and YES Inc.

Department of Homeland Security and the DHS Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization approved Mentor-Protégée Agreement between Avaya Government Solutions, Inc. (AGS - www.avayagov.com) and Young Enterprise Systems, Inc. (YES Inc.).  AGS will provide developmental assistance to enhance the business competitiveness, independence and development of YES Inc.  The term of participation in this program is three (3) years, which will expire on August 31, 2012.

06/30/2009 - A new public safety book coauthored by YES Inc. VP, Mr. Jim Sinclair

Mr. Jim Sinclair, YES Inc.
