Responsibilities
The Aviation Analyst Professional Pilot will provide support to Regional Runway Safety Program Managers including interacting with Airport Traffic Control Towers, Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) facilities, Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCC), Airport Officials, FAA Headquarters’ and Regional offices. Support consists of developing site implementation and transition planning for National and Regional Facilities and Equipment, Capital Investment Plan projects, and Airport projects, involving aviation safety related activities.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field as well as a minimum of 1000 hours as a pilot with an instrument rating or minimum of ten (10) years experience as a pilot with an ATP ratings. Operational currency within the past five (5) years or having remained current as a Certified Pilot within the past five (5) years prior to accepting employment under this contract is desirable.
